Artist Submission

Dear Artists,

You are invited to submit your original artwork for the Manchester-by-the-Sea Cultural Council's 2025 Summer Art Show: THE ROTUNDA EXHIBIT, taking place in local venues throughout Manchester's scenic downtown from June 27 - July 13, 2025.

We welcome professional, amateur and student artists from Manchester and beyond to submit work that captures their interpretation of the iconic Tucks Point Rotunda.

Deadline for submissions is Monday, June 16th, 2025.

  • Art must be framed with wire for hanging or canvas wrapped. Sawtooth hangers and clip frames are not permitted; 

  • $15 entry fee per submission for non-residents of Manchester-by-the-Sea, to be paid upon drop-off of artwork (cash or check, please. Checks may be made out to the Manchester-by-the-Sea Cultural Council); 

  • Maximum of 3 original pieces; (36” x 36" maximum size)

  • Artists must submit a label with their work indicating: name, title of piece, medium, price and contact info for payment if desired;

  • Any artwork not intended for sale must be marked NFS;

Artwork submissions may be dropped off at First Parish Community Hall (located behind Santander Bank) during the following times only:

  • Monday, June 16th from 6pm - 8pm

  • Tuesday, June 17th from 9am - 11am

Statement of Liability: 

Artwork will be openly displayed in local businesses, accessible by the public. The Manchester-by-the-Sea Cultural Council (MCC) is not responsible in any way for the loss, damage, disappearance, or harm of any kind to the artwork. Delivery of your work to MCC constitutes an express waiver, release, and discharge of all claims, actions, or causes of action against the harm of any kind to the works of art.

Sales: 

Artwork purchases will be directly from the artists.

The MCC will receive a 20% commission on any sales, payable by the artist after funds are collected from the buyer and using the honor system. All work for sale must be sold as displayed.
